Blacktown West Basketball Association and the Kevin Betts Stadium are proud to host both senior and junior basketball competitions for the 2006 Blacktown Centenary Games. Up to 80 teams are expected to participate in the following age divisions:

Mixed - under 10s

Juniors Boys - under 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s

Junior Girls - under 12s, 15s

Senior Men - under 21s, and A, B & C grade

The competitions will commence from 1st May and run over 14 weeks, plus fi nals. Team Nominations must be in by 31st March, individuals wishing to be placed in a team are also very welcome. Children aged between 8 and 13 who are new to the game can attend weekly 'Learn to Play' clinics. These are conducted between 4.30 and 6.00pm every Tuesday afternoon during school terms. It promises to be a very exciting time at Kevin Betts Stadium as the Games coincide with the stadium's 20th anniversary celebrations, so there will be lots of other activities and fun competitions for the juniors.
