    National Softball competition returns to Blacktown Olympic Park at the 2008 Under 23 Women’s National Softball Championship at Blacktown Olympic Park from the 15th to 19th April 2008. The Australian Capital Territory, New South Wales Country, Northern Territory, Western Australia, Victoria and Queensland State teams will take to the Softball NSW diamonds to compete in for the Joyce Lester Shield.

Competition was fierce over the five days, with the tournament an essential step in the teams’ warm-up for the Beijing Olympics, later this year.
