AFL
History
Local AFL had its beginnings in 1982 when people living in the Seven Hills area banded together to form the club because of their love for Australian Football. They wanted to provide young people in the Blacktown area the opportunity of playing this unique Australian game. Over the years, more than 1700 players have experienced this code of football with the Bombers, including Matthew Wheeler who went on to play with the Sydney Swans. At a time when the profi le of Australian Football continues to rise and the number of clubs is increasing dramatically, this club continues to play a signifi cant role and is making a valuable contribution towards the development of "Aussie Rules Football".
