Ballroom Dancing

History

The Seven Hills/ Toongabbie RSL Youth Club Ballroom Dancing has been teaching dancing to children and young adults since 1975. They currently have three different styles of dancing:
Latin: which includes dances such as the Cha Cha, Samba and Jive.
Modern: traditional dances like the Waltz, Quickstep and Foxtrot.
New Vogue: each New Vogue dance has its own sequence of steps, but with personal interpretations included. Some dances include the Merrilyn, Gypsy Tap and the Evening Tree Step.

How to Participate

People up to the age of 25 are welcome to join the club. Seven Hills/ Toongabbie Youth Club hall is located on the corner of Best Rd and McKenzie Boulevard, Seven Hills, in the grounds of the Hills Sports School.
Cost: Only $3 per week and registration is $25 a year. You must be registered to compete in competitions and for insurance purposes. Many legends have began their dancing careers here at Secen Hills /Toongabbie Youth Club, many of which you may now see on Channel 7's Dancing with the Stars program.
