History
Western Sydney International Dragway (WSID) is the product of a dream of the drag racing community in NSW for a permanent home for their sport. Offi cially opened by the NSW Premier, Bob Carr, on February 8, 2004, WSID provides a world class venue for racers and fans of Australia's fastest motor sport. Since its opening over half a million fans have streamed through the gates. Make sure you catch the exciting action of some of Australia's quickest racers soon.
How to Participate
WSID runs weekly off-street drag racing events where novice and enthusiast alike can run their street-driven car in complete safety. You also leave with offi cial time cards and great memories . . . and maybe the beginning of a new career!
Requirements
A civil driver's licence and an approved crash helmet

WSID also runs monthly open events, featuring a range of full competition vehicles, from the awesome 500 kmh Top Fuel dragsters to the 100 kmh Junior Dragsters raced by children as young as 8.
