Push and Power Sports
History
Push and Power is a wheelchair sporting Body, which invites both forms of wheelchairs, manual and electric, to compete in two organised competitions. This sport has been going for almost twenty years, providing valuable sports time for those that are often forgotten when it comes to sporting competitions. new members are always welcome at the club; additional members keep the competition lively.
How to Participate
Saturdays from March to July they play a form of rugby league similar to touch rugby league. August to October is Balloon Soccer.
Where to Participate
Both sports are played at the Kevin Betts Stadium, Mt Druitt. The annual cost is currently $15 and to be a member, is an additional $500 per team for Rugby League and $250 for Balloon Soccer. The majority of which is raised via sponsorship. All ages are welcome and anyone with a disability is invited to play as long as they use a wheelchair for everyday use. Spectators are encouraged to come and support the athletes.
