Tennis
History
In 2006, in conjunction with the BCC centenary, Blacktown Tennis celebrates 80 years of tennis in the Blacktown District. The history books of Blacktown are filled with outstanding achievements of this tennis community. In 2005 the under 14's girls won the prestigious NSW Hard court Interdistrict Wade & Neale Cup. The senior men were also very successful - winning the Shea-Wilton Cup for men over 40 years.
The Association boundaries were proclaimed by Tennis NSW, in the 1920's when Blacktown and surrounds was little more than a rural outpost.
How to Participate
Qualified coaches provide excellent tennis coaching for all ages and standards. The Association complexes are located in the CBD of Blacktown and at Rooty Hill as well as other tennis facilities within the district.
